Lord-Lieutenant visits Shrewsbury Repair Cafe

The Lord-Lieutenant of shropshire, Anna Turner visited the Shrewsbury Repair Café where a wonderful group of volunteers do their best to keep items working, in use, and out of the waste system, for as long as possible.

You can find them on the 3rd Saturday of the month in the United Reformed Church Shrewsbury. Items to be repaired need to be dropped off with us between 10am and midday and collected by 2pm latest.

 

They do their very best to repair items which are broken so that they can be used for longer. From household items to garden tools and clocks to cameras and lots in between.

 

If they can’t help or think that there is a local business that is better placed to make an effective repair they will do all they can to point you in the right direction.
