The clerks that make it possible
The work of His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant to Shropshire is made possible thanks to the help of the Clerk to the Lieutenancy.
The Clerk to the Lieutenancy provides administrative support to the Lord-Lieutenant, enabling requests to be processed. This role is carried out by the chief executive of Shropshire Council, Mr Andy Begley.
In Shropshire, this role is supported by Emily Marshall and Shelley Davies, the assistant clerks to the Shropshire Lieutenancy who are based at Shropshire Council, The Shirehall.
