HM Lord-Lieutenant was guest of honour at a celebration afternoon tea at A4U, a Shropshire user led charity celebrating over thirty years (celebrations had been delayed by covid) of providing information, advice and advocacy to people with disabilities and long-term health conditions.
Many Shropshire people with disabilities and health conditions have benefitted over the years from using A4U services. A4U aims to give people the information and skills they need to take control of their own lives and the decisions that affect them. Its particular focus at the moment is in the field of welfare benefits and also now has a developing reputation with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, providing services and support to adults who have had or are awaiting diagnosis.
