Shropshire Town and Community links Newsletter June 2025 Issue 14

The Lieutenancy has had a fabulous and busy first half of 2025 packed full of community involvement and a lovely royal visit. It’s been difficult selecting which events to highlight in our newsletters because the Deputy Lieutenants around the county have embraced being involved and so busy. We have once again
showcased Shropshire by welcoming the Duke of Edinburgh back to the county, we have been delighted to learn and share that two Shropshire businesses have been awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise, we have remembered and given our thanks to those who served in the second world war by attending VE day events, we have presented awards and welcomed many new citizens to Shropshire.
