Remembrance Day

HM Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire, Anna Turner today laid a wreath in Madeley, Telford to remember the sacrifice of millions who fell in the service of their nation in two world wars and many other conflicts to this day.

Members of the Lieutenancy are attending ceremonies across the county on Remembrance Day. They will lay wreaths and underline the Lieutenancy’s wholehearted support for the British Legion and families of those who died in the service of our country.
