The Lord-Lieutenant attended the Blessing of the Standard for the newly re-formed Royal British Legion Madeley branch at St Michael’s Church, Madeley.
The branch, having lapsed, has now been re-formed as the results of the efforts of a volunteer committee chaired by Graham Cooper and with Secretary Sarah Chadwick. The branch covers Madeley, Woodside and Sutton Hill and is currently meeting monthly at Madeley Cricket Club on the last Friday of each month.
