Hereford Cathedral Perpetual Trust is delighted that HRH The Countess of Wessex GCVO will attend the much-loved Advent in London service sung by the Hereford Cathedral Choir on Tuesday 29 November 2022.at the Guards’ Chapel, Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, SW1. The internationally renowned Choir has sung to congregations and audiences across the UK and abroad including the Sistine Chapel, for the Pope on St Peter’s Day, at the D-Day 75 Commemorations in Normandy and in Buckingham Palace. As in previous years, the service will open at 6.30 pm with an Act of Remembrance at the Memorial to the SAS. Following the service there will be a reception in the Officers’ Mess at 7.30 pm which will require a separate ticket as the number available is limited.
Tickets for Service – a suggested minimum donation of £25 per ticket
Officers’ Mess Reception tickets – £40 each to include drinks and canapes.

Each year the Perpetual Trust has to raise over £200,000 to support the Choir and is indebted to the many trusts, foundations and donors who support its work. As with so many people and organisations the past two years has been a challenge for the cathedral and all gifts, of whatever size, are gratefully received.
