Last Saturday, the Lord-Lieutenant was delighted to be asked to open a new exhibition in the Rose Paterson Art Gallery at Weston Park called the Green World of Brown. The exhibition, which focuses on the genius of the eighteenth century landscape gardener Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, has been organised with support of the Landscape Institute by a team comprising
curator: Allan Pollok-Morris MSc, FRSA, photographer and publisher who has been supported by the following advisors: Steffie Shields MBE (Brown historian, photographer and writer), Hal Moggridge OBE (consultant to Colvin & Moggridge), Susie Staikos (writer, photographer and event organiser) and Lady Henrietta Spencer Churchill (interior designer and author).
