170th Anniversary of Shrewsbury Cathedral

The Lord-Lieutenant, Mrs Anna Turner, was honoured to attend this very special mass on Sunday 18th January 2026 at Shrewsbury Cathedral to commemorate 170th anniversary of the Cathedral in Shrewsbury.
The service was a wonderful and beautifully sung Latin mass.
It was fascinating to hear the history of the Cathedral told by Bishop Mark Davies and Father Sean.
A truly lovely celebration.
