The induction of The Venerable Nick Watson as Archdeacon of Salop

HM Lord-Lieutenant attended Choral Evensong at Lichfield Cathedral for the induction of The Venerable Nick Watson as Archdeacon of Salop.  She was delighted to be among the first to welcome him to Shropshire and looks forward to working with him, Rt Revd Sarah Bullock, Bishop of Shrewsbury (also pictured) and many others from the Diocese of Lichfield which covers the northern part of Shropshire.

HM Lord-Lieutenant said:
“I greatly value the links the Lieutenancy has with both the Diocese of Lichfield and the Diocese of Hereford.  We may not have an Anglican Cathedral in Shropshire, but we have the advantage of the support of two Diocesan teams.”
